Law Firm Wealth / Lesson

Cut the spend that does not move owner pay.

Inquiries you cannot convert, and content you never wanted, are a tax. Cut that before you buy the next channel.

The question before the invoice

Before another ads budget, SEO retainer, or hire, ask what owner pay does if the spend works. More inquiries are not the win if intake cannot sign them, or if signed work cannot become cash. If you cannot answer that, you are buying activity.

Common taxes

Paid media that overflows a bottleneck. SEO that produces pages nobody on staff will maintain. Seats and tools for work that still lives in the owner’s head. Each one can be useful. Each one is a tax when it does not change take-home.

Cut first

Stop the line items that create work you will not do. Then spend on the constraint that is actually starving owner pay: slow signing, slow records, unclear partner numbers, or the founder as the only person who can move a file. Buying a new channel around that constraint is how firms get busier and poorer.
