Law Firm Wealth / Lesson
A signed case is not cash yet.
A full calendar with slow retainers and slower money in trust is a cash problem dressed up as a marketing problem.
Two clocks
Time-to-signed is how long a real inquiry takes to become a client. Time-to-trust is how long after that the firm actually has money it can work with. Owners usually watch the first number when they remember to, and ignore the second until payroll gets tight.
Busy is not solvent
You can fill a week with consults and still wait months for retainers, medical records, and disbursements. Marketing will happily sell you more of that. If signed work sits, more leads make the pile taller. Fix the path from yes to money before you buy another source of yes.
What not to rank here
This lesson is about cash timing inside the firm. It is not a comparison of intake products. If a tool helps, it helps because someone can see where files stall. If nobody owns the stall, the tool is a dashboard for a problem you already knew you had.
